JSWD Architects

“Conceptual clarity – Economy of design – Longevity of ideas: These are the principles pursued by this Cologne based architects office. In line with this claim, we reworked the logo and Corporate Design. In addition a Work Report presented a selection of their buildings.”

Modest, elegant visual identity

JSWD Architects  started 2000 with a small team. Since then the office has grown to over 70 employees.

When the architects moved into a building they built, the opportunity was taken to also revise the visual identity. Their office was given a new, deliberately modest but elegant logo, together with matching company letterhead stationery in a new design. In addition, various Word templates were produced for the client.

Work Report

In close cooperation with JSWD Architects, the Studio designed a work report. The brochure presents eight of their best architectural projects. The silver-grey brochure has a high quality cover: a project design from the Luxembourg rail station was embossed over the entire cover. Each project illustrated starts with a picture as a double-page spread. The next double page carries a description of the project in two languages, together with a site plan, and a back and white photo of the historical context.
